It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Witch's Quarry 2012 Summer OC Contest

I'm very excited about beginning work on book 2! Thanks for everyone who has been reading so far! In celebration, I thought I'd come up with a neat little character creation contest for the rest of August and September. Please look at the new Contest page for details!

I hope you will have fun bringing some of your own personal flair to Witch's Quarry and participate! Spread the word!!

I have also added a gallery page to show some of the art I have done based on Witch's Quarry as well as art that was made by other wonderful artists! If you haven't already seen it, please check it out!

Lastly RoguexKnight will be starting up tomorrow. I had originally intended to hold back on the production quality to give myself a bit of a break between books, but I can't help myself. It's the same finished inks and full color you've come to expect from the main story. For those of you that voted for a different story, I do intend to draw all three eventually in between books. I hope you will still enjoy learning more about Wesyng, Deshad and life in Kimeron.
