    I am in no way claiming my technique is great, but it's been working for me and I am able to update color pages daily while also working 20-30 hours of retail a week.  My philosophy is as follows.  I do not strive for perfection.  I strive for decent foundations.  My goals are to tell an engaging story with artwork that compliments rather than distracts from that.  The average reader will not dwell on every panel.  If your story is pulling them in as it should, they will be flipping through each page, spending maybe a few minutes to absorb it. &#

Presenting Mercenary Lord Simion Black~ have not drawn him in like 7 years or something!!

So I was thinking about how Simion used to be one of my favorite designs in Soul Union. Ah I never got to more of his part of the story. I remembered drawing this type of image for one of the chapter covers but I don't know where that artwork is. There was going to be this totally epic confrontation between him, Ritcher and Ilyon. May the best bad ass win XD;;;

He was fun to draw, but his costume still gives me a bit of grief. And I really couldn't tell you what his hair is supposed to be doing :3

Simion looks awesome! ....you should draw Ilyon next, he was my favorite :D

Ilyon was a crazy voice in my head. i swear none of my other characters since could inspire such WALL OF TEXT bubbles like Ilyon. i really do feel like drawing them again :O

Ooooh Soul Union! <3 Simion looks great! He has more personality somehow. Maybe it's my imagination. :) But seriously... did he kill all those people!?!? HARSH. If you're revisiting SU characters, I'm really looking forward to Ritcher and Ilyon. I loved them!

they didn't call him the black death for nothing ;) that's probably his life time of kills though.

aaah i think i will draw them XD
i reaaaaaaaaaally haven't drawn ritcher in forever. gosh i barely remember what he looks like X_x
