one of the first changes i made from my original script to the finished draft was to erase any use of the infamous F word. and in this one particular scene Tory used the F word so many times that i dropped the scene entirely. too bad. i think it's one of those moments that are so funny as hell to look back on. being so super pissed, you swear every word other word and can't even do a simple task like pulling off a shirt without flying off the handle.
of course if anyone laughs at you during this moment of rage, they will not live long enough to chuckle about it with you later!
since this scene had paul and mary (which someone suggested putting in this comic strip earlier) i thought it would be a nice break from the mushy tory/colin stuff~
it seems that paul is failing to notice that mary and tory are red-heads. we red-heads are known to have anger issues. (i think that's why mary is unfazed ^_^)
I can see how this would have been out-of-place in the final version of the story as we know it... xD But out-of-context F-bombs are the funniest kind! In-context they make you go "OMG, that guy just said the mother of all swear words, something serious is happening D:!" But out-of-context, you can play it for laughs, because Tory has nubby arms, so even if he's horribly, terribly angry, he can't do a damn thing about it.
I enjoy the fact that his shirt getting stuck over his head is also somehow Paul's fault.
I love the first two panels especially - they just excude uncontrollable, arm flailing, fist clenching rage!
